On the basis of long-standing experience from the former activities of the firm in this branch, the firm C+C servis, s.r.o. has started to deliver sophisticated original and non-original spare parts for plate heat exchangers in industrial branches as follows:

We supply OEM directly from production. The basic idea results from the "on-line" deliveries of MATERIAL FROM production which enables to us to satisfy the highest qualitative standards not only through high flexibility supported by workmanship, but in particular through achieving extraordinary terms of delivery.

As standard, we supply SEALING SETS, plates, etc. for the below-mentioned heat exchangers:

A-Laval, APV, API-Schmidt-Bretten (Sigma), Fischer, GEA, Reheat, Tranter, Swep, Cetetherm, Vicarb, Sondex, Stork, Zilmet, atd.

The professional personnel in the construction and development department will be very glad to carry out for you the optimization of material for particular applications through our trained representatives.

As a matter of fact, we deliver our components with an "FDA" certificate for contact with food.

Warranty and post-warranty services, including pressure tests on the basis of customer requirements are provided by a team having authorization for such activities.

While applying the most diverse types of chemicals, including alkalis (ammonia), we dispose of means for exhausting acids from heat exchangers. The plates are cleaned mechanically in combination with pressurized water or in a bath for chemical cleaning of plates if such operation is necessary.

The Service can be implemented on the customer’s site or it is possible to deliver plates to our service department for further treatment.

The material of delivered sealing and plates corresponds to the application and requirements of the customer in order to achieve the longest possible service life.

Mechanical sealing, or glued sealing, if needed, directly from production OF OEM IS supplied by us made of standard materials as follows: NBR, HT-NBR, EPDM-STD, HT-EPDM, IND FKM, BUTYL, CR etc. including a certificate for contact with food.

In case the plates are damaged, they are replaced by us with ones made of any of the materials used for collapsible plate heat exchangers:

AISI 316, AISI 317, AISI 304, Titan, Tantal, Nikl, Hasteloy apod.

In the area of shell and tube heat exchangers FUNKE has a mature product range of special models for almost all requirements in machine and plant enginering. Maximum quality requirements and customer-oriented solutions characterise the brand "FUNKE".

FUNKE Plate heat exchangers

For more than three decades FUNKE has specialised in the development and manufacture of heat exchangers with up to 2000 m² heat exchanger surface for all current industrial applications and designs.

In the field of Plate Heat Exchangers FUNKE offers a sophisticated range of products able to meet almost any requirement in machine and plant engineering. FUNKE's special “off-set” system with asymmetrical flow gaps creates highly efficient and cost-effective apparatuses whose performance (depending on design) is up to 17 percent higher compared with conventional plate heat exchangers.


Bolted Design (plate & frame)

FUNKE - heat transfer plates are characterised by optimum embossing resulting in high heat transfer coefficients. This permits low-cost and optimum adaption to the respective application conditions Our product range includes single-pass and multi-pass plate heat exchangers with heat exchange surface up to 2000 m².

Safety:

Our plates are provided with double gaskets at the inlet and outlet which prevent mixing of the two media. If designed as safety heat exchanger, double plates are provided with a special sealing system.

  • Optionally: 1.4539, 254 SMO, titanium

  • NBR (nitrile-rubber)

Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers

The series GPL, GPLK und TPL provide for a well balanced ratio of high heat transfer rates with low pressure losses. The thermodynamically optimized corrugation of the embossed plates and the inserted turbulators (TPL) allow for high turbulent flow even at low volumetric flow rates. This allows for efficient use of the heat exchange area available and leads to a perfectly optimized heat transfer. The high turbulent flow also results in an efficient self-cleaning effect, which greatly reduces maintenance and time-out. FUNKE brazed plate heat exchangers have a compact design and are used for high pressures and temperatures.

GPLK (heat transfer plates with V-corrugation)

Application:

Mainly for heating, air-conditioning, motor cooling, heat recovery. Globally to be used with different media.

GPLB

Applications:

Applications for GPLB are manifold, they can even be used with highly corrosive media or heat-transfer oil in special applications e.g. in chemical plants or laboratories.

In HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) as system separation in cycles such as distant heating, solar engineering and heat pumps as well as in floor heating or domestic water heating.

Oil / Air Cooling Units

Okan-Series

A wide range of standard units can now meet most of the applications in the field of oil/air cooling units. 17 sizes of the OKAN series are available with a heat dissipation of max. 6,2 kW/K, subject to market requirements, in one- or multi-pass design. Furthermore, for plant engineering and for series producers we are developing project related special designs.

As based on the requirements of our customers, warranty and post–warranty services, including pressure tests, are offered by our team, which is certified for such operations. When applying various types of chemicals, including alkalis (ammonia), we have facilities to exhaust the chemicals/acids from heat exchangers. Cleaning of the plates is performed mechanically, in combination with pressurized water, or in a bath for chemical cleaning of the plates, if such procedure is necessary. The service can be provided either on site at the customer’s location, or the plates can be transported to our service center for further processing (chemical cleaning).

Leak Detection

CHEMICAL CLEANING OF PANELS

We perform chemical cleaning of panels on an alcalic or accidic basis, depending on the type and degree of fouling, including subsequent passivation in a passivation solution.

After the chemical cleaning the panels can be electrolytically polished.

UV DEFECTOSCOPY OF MICROCRACKS IN INDIVIDUAL PANELS

We are happy to offer you modern ultraviolet defectoscopy of individual heat exchanger plates (applicable to tanks, pipes, fittings, etc.).

This quick and relatively clean method not only reveals but also locates any microcracks – including surface defects of the material.

We provide this service at the customer’s site, or we take the panels to our service centre where we carry out the tests in the “comfort” of our technical facilities.

CHEMICAL FLOW CLEANING OF EXCHANGERS

Our mobile unit is a special flushing device designed to clean cooling and heating systems. It heats up the cleaning fluid and increases cleaning efficiency. The unit can flush the system with variable intensity and direction while filtering the flushed dirt with a coarse filter in the filling hole and a fine filter before the pump, which prevents the dirt from returning into the system. The unit is powered by 400/230V. In the case of 230V power supply the heating power is reduced to 1/3, making it necessary to take into account a longer cleaning period. The flushing device is designed for cleaning and flushing heat exchangers, water distribution systems, pressing and injection moulds, coolers, pumps, boilers, and all types of cooling and heating circuits where the system is clogged by deposits formed by the medium used.

WHY CLEAN COOLING AND HEATING SYSTEMS?

Limescale is an excellent insulator – a layer of 0.1 mm reduces the efficiency of the heat exchanger by up to 30%. This layer of limescale grows in average hard water within 6 months, and after 12 months the layer can reach up to 0.5 mm. After 18 months it may no longer be effective.
